Comprehensive, example and exercise based manuals provided to enable self-pacing. Manuals cover Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control and Design methodologies and tools.
Reference materials and reading assignments provided to underpin course-work.
Exercises are submitted for corrective feedback at regular intervals.
Individual mentoring throughout the course.
Final exam provided to assess tools proficiency.
Certification will indicate proficiency in Six Sigma methods, tools and applications (where optional application project is performed).
Course Options
Level 1
Participant provides a suitable project from his/her workplace following Define course-work. Assistance is provided with project definition/selection to ensure an ‘actionable event’ within the course time-frame and a full learning experience for the participant.
Additional ‘Technical Support’ is provided to ensure correct and optimal tool selection and application, to keep the project on track for a successful conclusion.
Course covers all aspects of Six Sigma methodology and tools theory including DfSS modules.
Final exam is optional.
Final certification indicates that the candidate has demonstrated proficiency in the application of Six Sigma as well as methods & tools theory to Black Belt (& DfSS) level.
Level 2
Course covers all aspects of Six Sigma methodology and tools theory including DfSS modules.
Application project is not required.
Final exam is a required deliverable.
Final certification indicates that the candidate has demonstrated proficiency in Six Sigma methods & tools theory applicable to Black Belt (& DfSS) level.
Level 3
Course covers all aspects of Six Sigma methodology and tools theory excluding DfSS modules.
Application project is not included.
Final exam is a required deliverable.
Final certification indicates that the candidate has demonstrated proficiency in Six Sigma methods & tools theory applicable to Black Belt level excluding DfSS.
